Collard Greens
Ingredients
1/2 # Bacon
1 Each White Onions, Julienne
1/4 Cup Chicken Base
1/2 Cup Sugar
3 TBL Worchestershire Sauce
1/4 Cup Hot Sauce
1.5 cups Red Wine Vinegar
4 cups Water
Preparation
1) Saute bacon in large stock pot, add onions.
2) Add remaining ingredients (except greens) to bacon and onions. Bring to a rolling boil.
3) Add greens, let simmer until all have turned color. Cook for 20 minutes.
